Our Mission
Founded in 2019, Teens in Health is a student-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to remove barriers in scientific research and medical advocacy. Many programs that help high school students take their first steps into research and medicine are either extremely expensive or highly selective, catering to only a small number of students.
We hope to close this gap by forming partnerships with universities and research labs across the United States and teaching students how to write scientific articles, conduct research, and launch their own community service projects entirely for free. We also partner with community organizations to expand access to STEM education and advance our mission beyond the classroom.
Since our founding, we have reached more than 10,000 students across over 90 countries and built partnerships with universities, research labs, and community organizations across the country. Through these collaborations, we continue to create opportunities for students to explore research, connect with professionals, and turn their interests in science and medicine into meaningful work.
Thanks to our supporters, we have achieved nonprofit status and continue to grow our programs and reach. Your donations help us create new programs, expand existing ones, and organize more in-person opportunities for students to share their research and connect with professionals in STEM.
